North American Standard for Cold-Formed Steel Structural FramingThe American Iron and Steel Institute's (AISI's) Committee on Framing Standards (COFS) will develop this standard to address requirements for floor, wall and roof systems used in building construction with cold-formed steel structural framing. This standard will apply to the design and installation of cold-formed steel light-frame construction applications. Elements not specifically addressed by this standard shall be constructed in accordance with applicable building code requirements.
