North American Standard for the Design of Profiled Steel Diaphragm PanelsThis Standard applies to diaphragms and wall diaphragms that contain profiled steel panels, which include fluted panels or deck, and cellular deck. This Standard determines the available strength and stiffness of steel panels and their connections in a diaphragm system, but does not address determination of available strength for the other components in the system. The design of other diaphragm components is governed by the applicable building code and other design standards.
