Description / Abstract: DO-255 provides the Requirements Specifications for the Avionics Computer Resource (ACR) intended to facilitate certification efficiency and economy of scale for the computer platform. These Requirements Specifications define a computer platform suitable for hosting multiple, independent software applications and are seen as an enabling step towards standardized, re-usable avionics software applications.
